It’s a tale that weaves together a woman’s life as an activist and “Voodoo queen” (this story is worth Googling). Our version of Octavia is slightly less haunted but no less spirited – it captures the courage and tenacity demanded when going against the mainstream. Octavia is the frame we imagine worn by the most fearless of us all, or when you need to cosplay as one.
