First Fridays on Abbot Kinney is a spectacle for the eyes. Every food truck you could imagine lines the block while people from all over Los Angeles flock to taste their offerings. Feeding off the night’s vibrant energy, we hosted the premiere of our latest film “Synchronicity.” The film was screened at our brand new store at 1522 Abbot Kinney where we set up a projector in our nearly finished backyard patio, handed out brews and displayed some fresh art in the store. Directed by Venice filmmaker Ace Norton and Commondeer Films, “Synchronicity” stars the Kaplan Twins, artist sisters known for their headline-making oil paintings. All of these elements together sparked lots of conversation and made for a general, all around good time. Big shout out to Heineken and House Beer for keeping the good times flowing. We hope this will be the first of many fun nights at our new Venice home base.
