Sometimes a place is just so damn beautiful that you have to feature it twice. And if you’ve ever taken a road trip across California, it would be remiss not to stop at Big Sur both on your way up and down.
Situated along the scenic Pacific Coast Highway, it’s almost as if Mother Nature has set a trap that forces you to appreciate nature. As you wind along its long, twisting roads hugging the coast, cell service becomes patchy at best, and its isolated landscape brings out a quality in people that is beautiful in its simplicity – #nofilter necessary.
Now although this post could easily become Day Trippers: The Sequel, Big Sur never fails to give us a fresh glimpse of a world seemingly unchanged every single time. Surely you won’t hear us complaining anytime soon.
